Kilroy - Stealth (Quad-Pulse)

It’s Just OK

Firstly, I bought my first Redwood about a year ago. It’s a Pilot A-13. I love it. It’s versatile, keeps good time and is just a nice clean look. A+. I wanted to get a stealth style watch, so went back to the well at Redwood and got this Kilroy. On its own, it’s fine, but compared to the A-13, it’s far less substantial. It’s a thinner, lighter fit with lesser band, and that sort of cheapens it a bit for me. Not sure it’ll see nearly the action my A-13 does. Honest take from a Redwood fan.

Overall, good watch case, dial and functionality so far. The strap is where i deducted a star, as its fabric is a hair thin and the metal buckle and retainers are a bit thin too. But at this price point, its not a deal breaker. Especially given its a nato of a standard size, so if I have issues with it, i can just swap it.
