Kelp™ Leash

This leash is substantial in material quality and holds up against puppy teething chewing. My dog is only 20lbs currently, but having had a 45lb dog that was pure muscle and pulled this would have been great for that as well. I love the espresso color that prompted my purchase as the design is chic compared to everything else on the market and appreciate the minimal view brand label. The color coating on the leash hooks may not hold up over time when rubbing on the harness metal hook, but im not reducing my overall rating based on that. Will be ordering the matching harness shortly when my puppy grows to the size.

Great leash! I frequently use it as a crossbody leash to be hands free. I am especially pleased with the clip on it. The twist release is a great extra safety feature, and the clip itself is super durable. I’ve dropped the clip on accident a couple of times and it hasn’t gotten scratched or beat up. My one piece of feedback is that I wish this leash came in a longer (maybe with a traffic handle?) so I could use it crossbody on hikes where I want to give my dog some room. Maybe someday! If you need a leash this length, it’s perfect. Either way, I’m a return customer, I’m super impressed.

When you’re backpacking, hiking, crossing water, or managing gear on the trail, being able to quickly secure, release, or adjust your dog is incredibly useful. The harness and collar performed amazingly in water and dried extremely fast. One important note: SAKER clearly states that the pouches are water-resistant, not waterproof, so simply put food or anything that needs to stay dry inside a waterproof bag and you’ll be good to go. After our trip, everything was covered in dirt and mud. A little Dawn dish soap and a quick hand scrub had the gear looking practically brand new again. The ease of cleaning was another huge win. Both of my dogs now have SAKER collars, Muse harnesses with pouches, and leashes—and I’ll be adding their sling next. SAKER has earned a customer for life. Five stars without hesitation.
