Toshi Sling 6L V2

A really lovely piece of kit

I've tried a number of different slings, and all had good and bad aspects - there's no such thing as perfect, just the right item for you at that point. But the 6L Toshi sling comes closer than most. The materials are great. It is well made. It looks good without shouting DESIGN. And it had a lot of features that make the most of what a sling can be. My favourite feature is the small front pocket at the top. Although designed for glasses, it can hold any smaller item, but the advantage is that the contents don't compete for space with items inside the main compartment. I've got lots of great slings where everything winds up fighting for space at the base of the body, but this one feature just makes the whole thing feel bigger. The strap is lovely, and being able to pick your attachment points is a big win, as is the (re)moveable key leash. I bought it with travel in mind - it's going to be ideal to carry the items I want to have with me on a long journey while my bag is stowed elsewhere. Big enough to take what I need, but not too big. The downsides? I wish there were other colours. I have so many black slings already. And I haven't used the hideaway loops on the underside yet, so I can't say how well they go in practice.

I have both their V1 and V2 sling and every single thing I wished for in the original has been updated in the newer version. Grab handle - check. Internal organization within the front quick access pocket (those extra little pockets in the larger size) - check. Pen pocket - check. More size options - check. I adore this company not only because they are functional wizards who create products that truly work, but also because they listen to customer feedback and make useful changes based on that. I love a company that listens to their fans! They have a loyal customer in me from now on (they’ve officially poached me from Evergoods and Aer :). Thank you Rework! <3
