This is an outstanding Squat Belt. Superior quality and tough built. I love the airplane style buckle and the large hooks. The greatest improvement is the ability to adjust the length of the straps that are numbered. Get this to add a variety to the front squat exercise. My legs feel like Jello when I use this.

This is a great tool for training legs with a resistance band system. While using the bar in a front squat is nice, I realized I have some imbalances and started doing more split squats to address them. Using the V3 squat belt just makes it much easier to lock in and perform the work (and keep my hands free if I feel I need a little help with balance).
While it is a "split squat" belt, you can do a few other exercises with it. Bilateral squats are manageable, although it helps to use wedges (note: it is easy enough to load from the bottom for squats, but much harder when fatigued at the end of a set. I find myself lowering and then unbuckling the belt when doing squats, basically dumping it at the end of a set.). Calf raises are nice, and you can even bend forward and mimic a donkey calf raise. Is this "needed?" That depends on your program and preferences. I found myself avoiding leg work with the band and bar, but the V3 belt keeps me more motivated to do legs, so it was a great purchase for me.
