This pine picture ledge shelf is a wall ledge with a raised lip along the front and an upstand along the back, cut from imported pine 1.5 cm (0.6 in) thick, sanded smooth and finished on every visible face.
It is not a flat floating board. The 2.5 cm (1 in) front lip stops frames and small objects sliding off, and the 4 cm (1.6 in) back up
