Aurora AirSentry

Items arrived, ordered buy one get one free. They are not designed for the UK without an adapter to 3 pins. This I had no problem with as alot of products are manufactured to take a specific country's plug type. Unfortunately once plug in the front display was upside down. They also don't appear to be as good a quality as advertised so I notified the supplier that I wanted to reject under the UK law right to reject within 30 days. There answer was to offer me 20% refund but to send another 2 units. I have refused this as I have lost confidence in the product, especially as it is there to monitor for potentially life changing gases etc.. I have today notified them that if they don't refund I will be initialising a change back through my card supplier. I await there reply.

It is a very deceiving advert and not fit for purpose, it is shown as being flat and fitted flat against the wall. It is sold for use in motorhomes but it's 230v not 12v or battery powered so it only works when on electric hook up. Also useless in UK as when plugged in to a UK socket it is upside down. Don't waste your money buying this. It is not fast delivery.

so far so good, adverts need, sorting needs to mention that it has to be plugged into the 240v mains, so not really useful in motorhome when off-grid.
