I have been a carpenter for over 30 yrs now and run a small crew of tradies and apprentice’s. I recently purchased your bundle pack to give a square to each of my crew. I love the set out of the square, the way the notch’s are set out for scribing measurements is great, however the colour and the number markings are only printed on not etched in like on other squares and after using it for only a couple of weeks on a big cladding job the colour and the numbers have started to ware off already. This is a pity as once the numbers are unreadable the square is not useful anymore. Etch the markings into the square and it will be the best one on the market.

Awesome scribe points and easy to read and understand, it’s just a bit flimsy and already has a bow in the top from moving it in and out of my nailbag so often, it is lightweight which is good but it would never hurt to make it a bit more solid.

I got the smaller one and the size is perfect for me as I do all round carpentry. When it's not in my pouch it fits perfectly in my back pocket. I much prefer the features compared to a traditional square. I had wanted a square with a bubble, but looking at it now it would make the squars too bulky. Great job, Chippy Square.
