Our Deck Trim is an L for aftermarket use, the L channel is easier to work with. If you change carpet to the modern “thicker” carpeting, old F channel sometimes won’t fit. The purpose of the Deck Trim is to cover the riser brackets, the L trim does the job without the worry of “fitting” over carpet and decking.
