Magnifying Magnetic Third Hand

Its really great. Its well made and quite heavy too which is always a good sign. The magnetic posts are really strong as well. Plus the fact you can move them apart and set any distance is excellent. Its good for soldering cables to connectors also. The magnifying glass also helps.

This is a pretty slick little gadget. It took me a second to figure out that you have to push on the top of the anodized round fixtures to release the grips. It would be way cool if you could actually rotate those clockwise and counterclockwise to raise and lower each grip. Perhaps you can, and I haven't figured it out yet? Nevertheless, this fixture makes my soldering jobs much easier.

I haven’t used it yet but everything seems to work fine with it. All seems solid. It will really help me to be neater in the soldering department!
