Original Protein Coffee Latte

3 stars for health benefits, but took away 2 for the taste. The recipe seems to have changed for the worse since the rebrand and it was already borderline for me. I didn’t like the taste before, but dealt with it for the wonderful ingredients and easy caffeine source in the mornings. However with this new change, I think this will be the last time I buy it.

I really wanted to like this protein powder because I love coffee and was hoping to find a healthier, protein-packed alternative to my usual coffee. Unfortunately, this one just wasn’t for me. The stevia and monk fruit flavor was extremely strong and overpowering, making it taste overly sweet. I was also disappointed that the coffee flavor itself wasn’t very noticeable. To me, it tasted much more spiced than like an actual coffee latte. I will say, I absolutely LOVE their chocolate protein powder and have it almost once or twice every single day, so I was really hoping I’d love this one just as much! I love the concept, but I wish the sweetness were toned down and the actual coffee flavor came through more.
