V-Sol Pro (16mm) (Includes Paddle Cover)

The Perfect Paddle at the Perfect Price

I picked up the Vatic V-Sol Pro for my 11-year-old, and it has been a great fit for him. It has an excellent balance of power and control. There’s plenty of power available when he needs it, which lets him focus on developing good technique and clean contact instead of having to swing harder to generate pace. At the same time, it has enough control for him to work on drops, resets, and placement. For a younger player who is still developing his game, that combination has been perfect. It’s a great paddle right out of the box. If I were playing with it myself, I’d probably add a little weight around the perimeter for some extra stability and plow-through, but that’s more personal preference than a weakness of the paddle. Overall, I think the V-Sol Pro may be the best bang for your buck in pickleball, hands down. You’re getting a paddle that performs well above its price point without feeling like you’re making compromises to save money. I’ve been extremely impressed with it, especially as a paddle that gives my son room to develop his technique while still having plenty of performance as his game improves.

Quality paddle without the high price

I was using an entry level Selkirk and wanted something to enhance my game. I went through the standard Selkirk and Joola paddles but couldn’t find a paddle without the specifics I wanted without breaking the bank. Stumbled across the Vatic Pro series and while I actually originally was interested in the Saga, once I saw the V-sol, the foam core, the price and the reviews I knew it was what I wanted. My game has drastically improved and it provides me both with power and touch in the kitchen. Very happy with my purchase.

The paddle itself is very good, works similar to some $300 paddles and because of the foam can last a year compared to the typical 3 months. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars is because the wait time on shipping was absurd for having paid for express shipping. I ordered another paddle from the same company through their Amazon profile 2 or 3 days AFTER I bought direct from them and the 2nd paddle showed up 4 days before the express shipped one did.
