Not a Coike, but…

This is not a Coike replacement. Not by any means better than the original, but you will get 9/10 fish to bite just the same, which is leaps and bounds better than similar to other Coike imitations. Pros: This bait has zero memory, and isn’t sensitive to heat the way that the name brand Coikes are. I have left these tied on, in 90+ degree heat and they have maintained their shape. Additionally, you can crush them in the packaging for weeks on end, and they’ll come back to life no problems. These baits are not TPE/Elastomer, which is a good thing! They have a natural sink rate and don’t require 1/8oz weight to induce sinking. Cons: The packaging for this bait is pretty subpar. It reminds me of how a happy meal box is put together with little tabs and flaps, and tape holding the hanging on in the box. Definitely would not recommend trying to store them in the original packaging. These baits are not TPE/Elastomer so there’s a chance you may lose one when fighting a fish.
