Initial Review

The rasp is high quality. It removes wood easily, as expected. Cleaning it with a steel brush works very well. Overall, very satisfied with the Kutzall product.

Kutzal rasps

I do carvings out of large turning blanks, taking them to fine details and a smooth finish. Kutzal big burs get me started, then moving onto the Kutzal rasps and eventually smaller burs, to sanding. Their rasps give me great control with speed and I find that I'm doing less sanding during the final stage than before. I own the entire smaller set; love 'em!

Upgrade

I purchased the fine half-round after using some cheap rasps. So much better. Sometimes I just need to quit being cheap.
