P. agnata is a tropical butterwort species native to Mexico. It is a great beginner species and is adaptable to a wide range of conditions.
All Mexican Pinguicula have a carnivorous phase and a succulent phase. During the succulent phase their water requirements are much less.
We have grown these in a mixes of peat moss, sand, calcified
