I’ve wasted so much on so many other hackle pliers that just don’t work, these are absolutely perfect and the only pliers you’ll ever need for every situation

Great tension

Previous to using the loon hackle pliers I was disappointed in the lack of tension from other brands. I find these hold my hackles well and allow easy winding.

Great Hackle pliers

Brand new to tying flys, and this is a great hackle plier. easier to open then most of the cheaper versions I have tried, but holds tight. Easy to hold and handle on the vise. Overall another great Loon tool.
