Will probably improve with age

I hate to say it, but the only reason I limited myself to 4 stars on this is I have hardly had a chance to use it. It fits great and looks just like you would expect a jacket. I have a feeling that this jacket will be around for many years to come, as I bought another thigh-length Outback jacket somewhat similar to this one in 1990 or 91. That jacket has survived pretty much anything thrown at it, including a high-speed motorcycle ride in the middle of the night down I-35.

I love their jackets. This is the second one I have owned. Great fit and they keep you warm and dry.

The jacket came in packaged well. Unfortunately the leather collar was pressed up against the right sleeve causing a dry spot. I called customer service and they gave me several good options. The minor issue was solved very fast and I was satisfied! I have worn the jacket several times and have been extremely happy with my purchase. It has worked great in the rain and I am about to purchase another jacket for my vacation cottage in Northern Michigan. It’s a great fit with a lot of large pockets for storage.
