The soft paddle that still bites.
The Jelly Bean is back - and this time the grit lasts.
This is not a power paddle, and we're not going to pretend it is. The Jelly Bean 2 runs a softer, denser foam that gives you real dwell on the ball: longer contact, more feel, more control at the kitchen line. Dekel Barr called it "sneaky power," whi

I used to play with a power paddle, but after switching to the Ultré Jelly Bean 2, I realized that this paddle suits my playing style much better.
What I really like about the Jelly Bean 2 is its control and feel. Compared to my previous power paddle, it has less pop, which gives me better control over my shots and makes it easier to manage the ball. I feel more confident with my placement, soft shots, and overall consistency during rallies.
It may not deliver the same explosive power as a power paddle, but that's actually what I prefer. For my playing style, control matters more than raw power.
Overall, the Ultré Jelly Bean 2 is a great fit for me. Sometimes, it's not about having the most powerful paddle, but finding the one that gives you the confidence and control to play your best game.

Paddle so quickly, in perfect condition. The paddle cover is an excellent addition. The grit on the paddle is amazing. Just started using the paddle but so far it seems to be an excellent all court paddle.

Give it a few sessions to break in. But after it does you won’t be disappointed. This is the best feeling on a paddle I’ve ever experienced. If like me you have the Pegasus shape as well, I’d recommend grabbing the Hex caps as well. The ultre’s a little more head heavy out of the box than I’m use to, but other than that I think it plays perfectly. If you’re coming from a paddle with a similar balance point to the Ultre, you’ll love it, no mods needed.
