70 days. Our strain of Sweet Basil is a great culinary extravaganza, allowing several harvests over the season from 18 inch tall plants. Use leaves of all sizes in salads or to make pesto.

3.5 stars, not heat tolerant
I live at the northern edge of Houston, TX. These germinated well, and were growing alright, as were my other 5 basil varieties. Unfortunately this variety seems to be quite heat intolerant. It withered and died when we stayed over 90 degrees F for longer than usual. Cardinal, purple, lettuce leaf, and (unsurprisingly) both Thai varieties are doing well in the same beds. Will make sure to only plant this early, or after we start to cool off in future years.

The BEST
Lovely basil plant that produces A LOT! Absolutely love all the fresh pesto and dried herb we get from this. I always make enough pesto and freeze it to have that bit of summertime throughout the winter months. Territorial always gives us the most healthy plants!
