S40 and curved slider
I have not done my 100 miles yet because I have not had the time nor the inclination to ride. I did purchase a curved slider and by fitting it curve up, found it helped me a bit..
We have had extremely hot weather for the last 2 months and after golfing in 107 degree heat, all I felt like doing was riding my bike for 10 minutes in the evenings.
I’m good at starts and uphill but wobble when cyclists pass me or I pass others on the trail.
I have recently purchased two Bacchetta bikes, both used, so not a big investment. I did this to compare them with the S40 and to get my confidence back. The Bacchetta CA 2.0 with a small front wheel is very sensitive to steer. The Corsa was used on a 32 mile Square 2 Square ride and was a battle uphills. The S40 is much better uphills, I just have to persist with it. The heavy front wheel steering is so different on the S40. I will be alternating between the S40 and the Bacchetta Corsa with the hopes of doing the next Square 2 Square, in spring, on the S40.

Curved slider
I’m very happy with the curved slider for my V20. My only point of dismay was that it has a position scale that did not work with my existing boom. I had to paint over it. It functions well.
