Altura Dynamic Pants

Debated on what score to really give these. Honestly, I wish there was a half star rating. Went with a 4 star because of some of the better features. I bought these pants for all around hiking, as well as hunting in Alaska. Overall, the fit is great! Runs true to size for me, and the added internal belt is a nice feature. Great stretch and overall mobility- I don't feel restricted in any way. Breathability is also a positive. Surprisingly, the mesh held up to the bushes and alders we were going through. I never felt like I was overheating. When wet (not saturated), it took about an hour and a half to dry out- most of the wetness was in the knees from walking through wet brush. Biggest issue (for me) may be the durability aspect. I wore these pants for 5 days on a backcountry moose hunt in Alaska- busting through berry bushes and alders. Lots of pilling in the pants after this trip. I'll honestly say that I wasn't expecting them to act like a reinforced pant meant for upland bird hunting, but I also didn't expect them to have the pilling to that extent after such a short trip. Thankfully, there were no holes in the pants. If I were to have these specifically for hiking/walking/daily adventures, I'd give them a 5 star rating all day long. But, for the purpose I bought them for, I can't come up to that. I really do like the fit and feel of the pants but will not be using them for any future hunting expeditions. Hopefully this helps some other hunters who are considering these pants.

Like everything about the pants - would add internal kneed pad sleeves and extend the hip vent higher - other than that perfect

Great product. The fit is perfect, love the integrated belt, and the heat dump side zips work well. I would recommend this product and these pants are great for backpacking and / or backcountry hunting. Wanted to use them in the field before I wrote a review.
