It's not just a cheap display

The book alone is worth the package price. There are lots of code clips that I was able to use when making up displays that did things e.g. read DHP 11 and decide whether to turn on/off irrigation displaying the conditions in my greenhouse, and keeping some data on the same. Nice to have to learn sorry but I'm almost 80 and need the helping hand,

Démarrage impossible (ecran noir) de l'ESP32-CYD

Le strict respect de la procédure de mise en œuvre décrite dans le livre d'accompagnement n'a pas permis le démarrer du CYD. Il s'agit en fait de paramétrer au préalable, un fichier "User_Setup_Select.h" qui n'est pas du tout indiqué dans la procédure. (Voir mes échanges 'email' avec le support) L'aide obtenue via le "forum.arduino.cc", m'a permis de résoudre le problème.

Somewhat Disappointed

Ordered from USA, $50 CYD and book, $21 shipping, $36 import & tariff fees. More emphasis on advanced features of the display would have been more desirable. The first half of the book does not even deal with the display and the CYD I received is defective. (Touch panel is non responsive) The latter half of the book is informative. Very disappointing.
