Tea Egg

Nice and large. Easy to wash and to insert tea leaves. Brews a litre of black, (builder's) tea. That's what I purchased it for. Base has no drainage. It will drain if held on it's side, but this not easy to do while its hot. Major reason for using a tea egg is to drain the leaves so that the second brew is not stewed.

Excellent piece of kit

Ordered this as part of a gift set, as a thank you present, along with several tins of green tea. They have all been thoroughly enjoyed. I shall be ordering more as Christmas gifts. Thank you Proper Tea Company, you have been a great find.
