Accuracy is key
The rotating stone is a great addition to the Ooni, but accuracy is key. I typically make 14-inch pizzas and getting them perfectly centred on the 16-inch stone definitely takes some practice. If the pizza isn't positioned correctly when launched, the rotation can make it obvious very quickly. Once you get the technique right, the rotating stone helps achieve a much more even cook without the constant need to turn the pizza manually. It reduces the risk of hot spots and allows you to focus more on topping management and monitoring the bake. Overall, it's a well-designed accessory that improves consistency and makes pizza cooking more enjoyable, but don't expect perfection straight away. A few practice runs are needed to master the launch and consistently hit the centre of the stone. Once you've got that sorted, the results are excellent.

Excellent, cooks very evenly
Pros: The new rotating stone is excellent, easy to fit, easy to operate, and cooks pizzas evenly. Cons: The rotating stone should have been installed in the oven from new, makes the oven quite expensive when you buy both!
