First time buying whole bean coffee
This was my first time buying whole bean coffee. I like my coffee black with no sweetner. I used 20g, grinded with Baratza Encore, then added to an aeropress, then 250ml filter water that was 2m off the boil with a 2-3 minute steep. It was okay. Flavour peaked at 12-15 days since roast date. Not much of a caffine hit but tasted about 25% nicer than instant. I'm going onto Robusta beans next as it seems to be more my taste. But this was a decent intro to whole bean traceable same-day roasted coffee. It did not tatse bad and if someone has a preference for a safe cup of coffee I'd reccomend this brand.
