I've never found spoon mules to be very comfortable, so I've designed an upgrade for my shave horse design that still allows you to push your legs forward instead of out, while also clamping the work piece low like a spoon mule, and best of all it only takes a few seconds to switch between the shave horse and the spoon mule.

I wanted to share a quick thank you for the shave horse template and plans. The layout and instructions were very clear, and the build process was straightforward to follow. In fact, most of the time I could work directly from the template without needing to watch the video, except for a few small details. The design feels practical and well thought out, and it was easy to adapt to my own workshop setup. I made a few small personal modifications along the way to fit my working style, but the base structure and guidance made the build smooth and enjoyable.
