I have seen a review that said they thought they were not working I think I know what they mean the sound is very clear the only way you know they are working is the lack of side effects I have used 25 db on my bike and 20 db playing my bass both with no unpleasant issues all I can say is things have moved on since I bought my last ear plugs

Works great. Just need to experiment with proper size covers which they give multiple sizes. I was worried that it would hurt while putting on and taking off my helmet but it was just fine. I thought maybe the ear piece would dislodge but I got the right technique to put in my helmet with minimal disruption to my ears.

Noise

My first time using them it was eerie. I could hear my bike but not the wind. I took them out and put my foam plugs in and they filtered out most everything. I am riding tomorrow so will try them again. I like hearin my bike but not the roar so happy so far.
