Holdmate Pro Pouch Kit

I like all of the options to protect my phone, by using the pouch and retractable line or just the retractable gear. Can't wait to try it out when I get my kayak.

This a good item for travel However in the video and photos there are two methods to use the lanyard and the pouch together. 1. The phone is attached to the lanyard as usual. Then the lanyard by its Karabiner to a strap on baggage or a belt loop. The pouch is then strapped separately, again to straps of baggage - vertically or its velcro straps - horizontally e.g. a trouser belt. By looking at two photos on the website showing the pouch attached vertically to backpack straps when the phone is placed in the pouch. Due to the tether and phone attachment the zip is unable to close completely. One problem the pouch is open to the elements and debris getting inside. 2. In the video showing the man wearing a blue rash vest. He is wearing the pouch attached vertically to the straps of his backpack. The phone is attached to the lanyard as usual. However this time the karabiner of the lanyard is attached to a cloth loop woven into the inside of the back of pouch so therefore the lanyard and the phone are entirely in the pouch. Therefore the zip of the pouch can zip up completely. This looks like the correct option. Though any determined thief knowing there would be a phone or other valuable belongings inside the pouch could easily pull or slash off the pouch from straps or a waist belt with a knife. So which is the correct or best of the above two options? Someways I should have bought the the lanyard only as I am using my Apple iPhone fitness and health apps to monitor my walking and health. So therefore it is best for my iphone to be placed my thigh pockets. Placing it in the pouch, then the pouch in thigh pocket is too bulky for the pocket. Also if in the above option 2 the pouch is not secure in the pocket unless it’s was a zipped pocket. So therefore no use for the Lanyard. So therefore it would have to be the above option 1. Though The Apple apps may work if the pouch is place horizontal via the Velcro straps at the wasteRound a trouser. Then you would have to watch out for the thief. As the set has probably been shipped from abroad. As well I got a reduction in price for the set. Therefore there is no point returning whole set or just the pouch it would probably cost more.
