Summarized by Shop
The rich coffee character of our classic French Roast comes from roasting longer and hotter, which many beans can't handle. The bold and slightly smoky flavors of this dark roast hit just the right notes without being bitter, so you can relax and enjoy a smooth and full-bodied cup.

Wake-up morning coffee
Angelino's French Roast is my preferred morning cup (or two) of coffee. Since my husband prefers medium roast and I prefer dark, the K-cups allow us each to have that perfect cup of coffee. French Roast is deep and full bodied without being bitter.

The Dark Coffees have complex flavor without tasting burnt
I've been a loyal Pike Place Roast customer for years. I tried a variety pack of Angelinos dark roasts and won't go back. The flavors are richer and more complex, without that burnt taste of Starbucks (which I don't mind, but won't miss either). That applies to the French, Italian, Dark and Moca Java blends.

The French roast is one of my getting up in the morning favorites. A good fairly strong flavor to start my day.
