Mini Hiking Umbrella

The umbrella is very light and compact, which I love. It seems very fragile, though. It takes time to gently and carefully open it. This works ok for sun, but the slow opening won't be helpful for rain. For me, the jury is still out if this will end up joining my quiver of essential trail gear.

I just received this umbrella and it looks exactly right. Metalized coloring without being plastic. Light weight and appears to be durable enough to stand up to the use on a several week trip if given some level of care. Will know more after the big trip.

Lightweight and easy grip

My dermatologist will be happy that I am using the Six Moons umbrella! Learning about it through NYT Wirecutter and as our summers seem to be getting warmer, I invested in this sun umbrella to protect me. I was surprised by how light yet sturdy it is and though I am no longer a hiker, this will protect me and keep me cooler.
