I really like the gain reduction 2 it’s pretty good in default for heavy stuff for other Genres you can experiment with the softer compression it still has plenty of power . I still have to get used to some of the controls like the De esser and the clarity , the body and warmth are a bit more straight ahead but you’ll have to experiment with the sweet spots to your taste , there’s no doubt it punches rite through the mix rite out of the gate !

Reliable tool

Although the initial set up might be hard to make your vocals sound good, the result is amazing cause it actually feels like its getting rid of some room noise and any unwanted frequencies as well as compressing. With eqs before and after the compression, you should be able to shape the sound how you want it to sound without any downsides.

Love it and brings the vocal to life and in your face. Will try it on instruments next.
