Using this chisel

I'm finally getting better at sharpening a new chisel. I believe one key to this getting better is that I watched your sharpening video and built a low platform where I could get the leverage and comfort to hold and move the chisel more effectively. I'm in a wheelchair or while in my shop, I'm mobile on a stool with good wheels, I can't lock my elbows and rock my body to move the chisel on the stone. Trying to compensate, Once sharp this 17degree chisel sure moves through the wood easily! Dale

Best chisels out there

These are hands down the best chisels out on the market today. Once honed the predictability of the tool is uncanny. The tool becomes an extension of you. I would not hesitate buying again. My only regret is not buying these years ago.
