M16-S Precision Temperature Control Charcoal Grill

Great Quality, rock solid performance. You forget what USA quality means until you see this and use it in person this thing is beefy, i looked at other options prior to deciding to go with this and at the time I picked this up i was able to see the other options in person. One option looks great but flimsy and rivited felt as if you might get a season on it at best the other option flimsy and felt as if it was made to be replaced monthly. So I am very happy i went this direction its a wounderful product and so worth it. Maybe if it was built with lighter gauge material it would save some on shipping. Lol. Defenitly worth purchasing if you plan on using it for years.

Amazing, but still fails

I've had my M16 for roughly a year, cook on it 5+ nights a week. Cook everything from steaks to ribs, roasts and even 1/2 brisket. I've smoked bacon, sausage even some cheese on it. I also purchased the smoker box. I've had the C4 for even longer and it lives in my truck. Generally very well made and I have no doubt it'll last a very long time. However, there are some pain points. When I first opened the grill I was greeted with a felt gasket that looked like it was put on by a drunk. Crooked, too long at one corner, 50% off the lip in several places. Poor form on a high end product. If my 10yo had completed the work, I would have asked him to redo it. Stainless Grates are too small to sit securely on the rails that they are designed to sit on. Generally they slip off one side of the rail and sit on the charcoal basket. Manageable, except when I want to grill without the charcoal basket, then I have to be very careful the grate doesnt slip off and drop into the bottom of the grill. Again, poor form on a high end grill. Grill Grates sit on there perfectly. Almost makes me think the Stainless Grates are from another product and just tossed in. Pre-purchase communication started off well, as I had some questions on the different accessories. During the ordering process both MGrills and myself missed ordering one of the accessories we'd spoken about. Despite repeated attempts to rectify this, MGrills has been extremely difficult to communicate with and appears to have zero interest in correcting the error. I've been between homes for the last 12 months, so wanted a smaller grill that was as versatile and durable as a larger grill. The M16 fit that need. I'd had plans to buy an M36 MOAG for my new house, but after these failures in the design, execution of their M16 and the poor communication I'll be looking elsewhere for my big grill.

American quality.

This grill is very heavy duty. Welds are done very well. I have used it as a smoker and a grill. This beast does both. Grill surface is on the small side but feeds my family of 4 perfectly. Small but mighty. Definitely recommend. I cook using wood and lump charcoal. Go Hawks!
