Seems to work great on flies of all sizes. Does seem to leave a white residue (similar to some powder dessicants out there) but I haven't it negatively effecting takes. Also has a bit of an odor to it, but also have not noticed that negatively affecting anything either. Will make your flies sit high up on the water if that's what you are looking for.
