I have been a long time patron of Carman Brook Farm, we have vacationed in Vermont in the summers my whole life. Some what recently when they got their new equipment they changed the process they use to make the maple candy. Instead of the process used by the majority of other producers they use a different temperature or something; even I do not fully understand the logistics of it the technique makes the candy the best maple candy you can buy! Even though there is no ingredients other than maple syrup it tastes creamy. If you like maple candy this won't disappoint.

Way back in the 1970s, our grandfather would go to Montreal to visit family each year. Every return he would bring the grandkids Grade B maple syrup and maple candy; always telling us, "Now kids, 'this' is the good stuff!" 50 years later, Carman Brook Farm produces maple products that compare favorably to those wonderful childhood memories. I bought this candy to treat my older sister who exclaimed she was instantly transported back to age 9 -- opening the fridge to find maple goodness.
