Our Value Quality Burlesque Ostrich Feather Fan is an great value item, especially good for performances which require quick movements! Ostrich Spad feathers are immature wing feathers that have not been fully developed, so the tips are a bit sparse, but the feathers are full. Fans open and close.

The fans came in immaculate condition and the month long wait was well worth it! The color is exactly what I wanted, and it matched my dressing gown perfectly! Granted, the ends of the feathers are a bit sparse, but the base is very fluffy! Please bear in mind that these fans are definitely meant for larger hands as the staves are quite bulky, which was not a problem for me as I am a 6’2 plus size drag queen, but it may be for dainty performers. Amazing overall and the construction is very sturdy to my knowledge.

The fans themselves are beautiful, but it took well over the estimated time to ship (March 26th ordered, finally received May 6th), and I only finally received shipping information/updates after complaining 3 separate times. I’m performing in a group of 4 and all 4 of us had the exact same issue. No information from the company until we each complained multiple times.
