I’ve been a customer for 30 years! My oil pan gasket blew on i294 and I decided to drive to my destination and then 30 miles home with no oil in the pan. Not the smartest idea as a young man. But the mechanic said no damage and shiny new metal. He told me I had a brand new crate engine. I told him no, that it was the original 1984 motor. He replaced the oil pan gasket and all is well.
