8" Play-Keeper Magnetic Chess Set

Study with this board

I really love this chess set. The 8-inch size is perfect for analysis and studying positions — large enough to see everything clearly, but small enough to keep next to me and use anytime. What I especially like is the Play-Keeper design. The pieces stay securely in place, so I can set up a position, close the board, store it, and come back later without losing the position. This is extremely useful when studying chess books, courses, or analyzing games over several sessions. It is compact, practical, easy to store, and has quickly become one of my favorite sets for chess study. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dedicated analysis board.

Very nice

Great play and go chess set

I ordered this set because I travel quite a bit. I love chess, though I am probably a low intermediate player and this set allows me to start a game, and if time becomes an issue, you simply slide the board and the pieces into the box, close it and go on your way. Later when you have the chance to continue the game, the pieces are all where they are supposed to be, you slide it out of the box, and enjoy the game. I have numerous travel sets but this one is one of my favorited because of its versatility, convenience and ability to allow a game to be played over time
