Commando Smooth Integrated Skagit Head/Running Line

I am new to single hand Skagit casting and am learning how to cast with this line, along with OPST heads, from watching YouTube videos. The line seems to work well for my awful beginning efforts and I have found that I can boom it out using a Belgian style traditional cast if I get frustrated with all the poke and sweep stuff. I called and spoke to OPST and they were helpful in guiding me on what to buy. I go to Alaska next week for coho fishing with Duncan and Sons and will hopefully improve as I fish :)

Put this on my 6 wt single handed stick and love it!!!

Bought this line, along with tips, to go with the Echo 4 wt River Glass. Skagit and overhead casts—and fishes—beautifully. Not my first OPST outfit and certainly not my last.
