The Akari 75A is a larger model in the A series of globes that Isamu Noguchi designed. Among the first forms of Akari light sculptures that he created, the A series of globes features mulberry bark washi paper, tight, evenly-spaced bamboo ribbing (higo), and a spherical shape.

I’ve purchased multiple paper lanterns from various companies. These akari lanterns are absolutely the best. The quality of the materials and construction of the lamp is unmatched. I actually purchased this fixture to replace another company’s paper lantern that didn’t look as good. Not always in stock, but I was happy to wait for it. Glad I did.
