Does the job!
My kids are still pretty little (under 5) and they have trouble using this on their own but I use it to sharpen their crayons. I like that it is wooden and not plastic. You have to press pretty hard to get the crayon to engage with the sharpener

Must have for stockmar crayons.
This us a must have for stockmar crayons or other larger crayons. But be aware curious fingers could get cut if they decide to stick little fingers in like a crayon and twist. But a quick lesson on how a crayon sharpens and a show of the blade will have that all sorted. We enjoy the sturdy wood make of this and straight forward, no frills, nor guessing games of this lovely crayon sharpener.

Worth it!
I never knew a crayon sharpener could be this good. It works for our giant crayons that didn't fit into any other sharpeners, and sharpens with ease. Very happy I got this!
