This was my first pattern I've purchased and I couldn't be happier. Easy to follow instructions and I love that you can select your exact size to print with the layers.

These shorts made up really cute. However, the size 6 runs small; they're too tight for my granddaughter. As a seamstress of many years, I found the method of attaching the trim to be a bit convoluted. Next time, I'll do it my way. I also don't think the crotch area has enough curve in it because they tended to pull up in the crotch area as she walked. I did add an inch to the top of the shorts because I don't like little girl's pants so low on the hips. I'm going to make this pattern again (and probably again and again because it's so cute), but with my own modifications.

I've never had a pattern that was more "off" in size. I knew it was low cut and awfully short so I chose the size based on her waist measurement but added length in the leg and at the waist. The finished product was so stinking cute but when I tried it on my granddaughter, there was very little room for growth. It barely fit in the waist. That being said, I'll still continue to adjust the pattern because the shorts are a quick sew and very unique. The directions are adequate although after making the first pair I realized zigzagging and folding under the edge isn't necessary since I was finishing the edge with bias tape.
