Spacer is perfect
For DIY this is great. I also used it as a template for spacing on 4x4 posts. Simple design. Sturdy. Exactly what I needed for a stretch that didn’t need another post but might sag over time.

It was easy to do. I have leftover parts, including an unopened hundred foot spool of cable. Can I return those?
