Prism Ice Screw Case

Really enjoy the quality and durability of the prism ***** cases. I pair these with my ice 40 as well as the prism crampon case and I love how everything fits inside the pack. Huge upgrade from roll up style options. Packing the screws is a reasonable process, the only concern I have is when I pack my 21’s (two) the sleeves aren’t long enough and expose the threads and teeth which then come in contact with the metal hangars of the opposing side of the case when closed. There are a couple work around’s like thread protectors and tooth caps but that’s not ideal for packing and unpacking with gloves and making sure the pieces don’t get lost. One recommendation would be two longer sleeves per case for 21’s for full coverage. I find Blue Ice screws to fit the best and it’s a little bit of a puzzle for loading up Petzl screws and the chunky hanger on laser speeds. Overall very happy and would highly recommend this product especially if you are in the hyperlite system already.

Only played around with this at home because it's august.. but so much better than the classic roll-up design from petal, bd etc. Fits more screws, screws actually stay in the ***** bag and don't come out inside a rucksack to spread your other gear. Fits full rack of 12+ screws. Kind of pricey, but not that bad because it replaces 2-3 conventional ***** cases, plus works so much better.

Best case on the market

I knew this would be the best case after using a friend’s but hemmed and hawed over the price. But after ponying up the cash I have had no regrets. Betsy case on the market. Can hold half a dozen more screws if you want to. Should last ages.
