Dapper 1959 Original Creation

This is a barber shop style fragrance which I decided to try as a blind buy. I find the opening a bit heavy on the sweet notes, I do not get any of the citrus notes, the musk is a dominant. After a couple of hours the patchouli and pepper notes emerge, but I am unable to detect the vetiver. It projects well and I would recommend going easy on the number of sprays, longevity is also good. It lacks the freshness and subtlety of Beau de Jour and Rive Gauche, so although I like it, I do not love it

From what i had read I expected barbershop and shaving cream but i get rose oud and amber. Blind buy that didn’t work

Amazing barbershop scent - opens with a fresh burst of citrus but slowly dries down into a classic barbershop/creamy fragrance. Not overpowering - very fresh and actually find it to be super uplifting. Bought the 10ml - will be ordering a bigger bottle when in stock.
