The 3MM are good in the skates; I use the thinner ones when I mow my lawn in my leather moccasins. These are good products for me.

These are comfortable and do seem to help with the laces, digging in to my ankle and foot. However, they are thinner than I thought they would be and if I wear them underneath the socks, the seams do irritate a little bit although they are a flat lock and pretty soft
