Autumn Ski Pole Strap

The color and pattern add an emotional maraschino cherry to a great trip. The replacement process of my ruined leather straps, held in place by a Phillips head screw going straight down into the handle, was very easy…maybe 90 seconds per pole. Their instructions say to put the long (no buckle) side on top, but I did not read the instructions, and installed them buckle strap on top. I did not like that feel, so I read the instructions. 90 seconds later, the long strap was on top. This configuration was comfortable for the next 3 days of XC Backcountry skiing with lots of pole thrusts. Very, very comfortable. And a very pleasing and spicy visual look. I really like the pattern; very cheery with all my earth tonedski clothes. Thanks.

Artistry, design, materials are great. The one challenge I had on my screw down application was that the screw diameter was slightly larger than the grommet diameter. The Gromit on one strap came off. I found a different sized screw that appears to have worked.
