Love this bobbin. I already have 6 Loon bobbins. I use slot of gel spun thread and it wreaks havoc on slot of bobbins. I have yet ruined a Loon bobbin with gel spun. I have had them for a few years. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Big and strong
A lot bigger than anticipated, but an absolutely excellent tool for my kit. Not for nymphs, but perfect for bigger flies. I love the larger opening on the tube. Much easier to thread. Easy to adjust tension with the flat arms.

Loon bobbin
This is now my favorite bobbin ever. I’ve been tying for 15 years and this is by far the best one. It is smooth and very ergonomic. Definitely buying a few more
