The practice roll is a wonderful inexpensive paper to work with to develop stroke work. It mounts well and shows color strokes. Some of my best paintings over the years have been on this paper.

I've been using the OAS Practice Roll 12" P03A for several years and like the weight of it. It's more forgiving than the thinner papers and easier to work with, less bleeding, and easy to mount onto cardstock.
