Poseidon Pro Power Bank

Holds up well!

I have had my Poseidon Pro for almost a year now and it has been great! It's gotten wet, beat up, bounced around and still charges like the day I got it. I tend to be hard on things so I'm glad to have a charger that holds up to that!

Recently we had a storm/hurricane pass within 100 miles off our island, with 140mph winds. These winds knocked out power for nearly 24hrs. The solar one I have was charged within the previous 2 months but connecting to it it had lost 25%. Had to run my car to charge up, the second time only ended at 60% and it is stopped to be a 20k...guess not. I needed a durable power pack that actually hold it's charge at least 6mos. The Dark Energy Poseidon I easily charged my phone twice and still had 1 light left. Oh, and charging it is quite fast actually! Durability is high and it holds the charge way better than the solar one I have. Yes it cost more but I'm very happy with it. Thinking about the nano next...

Great Power Source On The Trail And Water.

I got the Poseidon Pro about 2 years ago. Loved it! The first power bank I owned that powered up my phone and action cams quickly. Great in the field. My only issue was as I carried the Poseidon Pro in my back pack I must have dropped my pack and the Poseidon Pro plastic port door broke leaving the pin inoperable. I was able to just snap the door back on and I continued on. Last year I was photographing my local river and slipped on some river rocks. I saved my camera but landed on my back and my pack was submerged in the river along with my PoseidonPro. I pulled everything out and dried it all. Unfortunately the port door was off and the ports got wet. It never worked again after that. One upgrade I would suggest would be to improve the hinge pins for the port door. They are a break point for sure if dropped. Could a rubber gasket type closure replace the need for the hinge pins? But that is my only issue with the Poseidon Pro. Other than that mishap I really liked the unit.
