I am not a fan of hot food. But a splash of hot sauce in soup, stew, casseroles, and beans & rice is a must without adding too much heat. I used Frank's Hot Sauce for years until I found Captain Mowatt's...and I'll never go back! I've had both Blueberry & Canceaux sauces - both were excellent. With Christmas around the corner, they make a nice gift.

Every sauce I've purchased over the years has been fantastic. I like some more than others but otherwise, not a bad bottle in the bunch. I found Captain Mowatt's years ago displaying at the Deerfield (NH) Fair. Bought a couple of bottles and they've been my go-to ever since. I've been cooking all my life and understand the importance of flavor. Heat can't just be all about "heat." It has to have flavor. CM is just that. My faves continue to be the Shark Bite Mustard, Angry Pickle, Boston Red Sauce, Great White, Sunrise and Heating Oil. That oil on a fresh, out of the oven pizza, sends it to a different level. Bravo!!!
